Solihull Chicken Coops and Houses are dedicated to bringing you the very best quality chicken coops, poultry arks and hen houses at reasonable prices.

This site is aimed at 'Back Garden' Poultry keepers, those who want to enjoy a bit of the Good Life or just like a fresh egg in the morning!

Chicken keeping is one of the fastest growing hobbies in the UK, as people are realising the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Fresh free-range eggs are very different from shop bought eggs. The yolks are a much deeper yellow, and they are absolutely delicious! The average egg laying chicken can lay between 250-300 eggs per year, and as they are social animals that you can't really keep on their own, you are almost guaranteed a full supply of fresh eggs! We have 4 chickens and they produce enough eggs for a family of 4 with plenty leftovers.

Chickens are very easy to keep and make ideal pets. We aim to give you some helpful hints and tips to ensure that you dont fall 'fowl'.....

Chicken Coops and Houses

We did a lot of research when looking for our perfect coop and soon realised that there were so many options! Do we get an ark that can be moved around the garden? A coop with a fully enclosed run? A house with a detachable run? If you think we can help with any of those decisions for you, please drop us a line.

The Earlswood

Our Best Selling Chicken Coop / Hen House. The Earlswood Chicken Coop gives exceptional quality craftsmanship at a reasonable price.

The Baddesley Ark
The popular Baddesley Ark is a small chicken ark suitable for 2 large chickens or 4 bantams. The ark can be moved around the garden easily to provide new grazing areas.


The Claverdon
The Claverdon is an extra large chicken coop / hen house. Capable of holding 13 large chickens or 30 bantam chickens, this will keep the eggs flowing!
